The history of Holloway Ventures.
For nearly 10 years, Holloway Ventures has produced and displayed visual arts exhibitions that exceed the boundaries of ingenuity. Visually dynamic websites, appealing animation and exquisite Fine Art's exhibitions have provided countless audiences and businesses with visions that propel the imagination and captivate the human spirit.

As Holloway Ventures pushes forward, it now begins a new era in its history with stage shows that present beautiful imaging and dramatic storytelling. Embarking on a creative perspective that will usher in a new generation of followers and believers.

The HOLLOWAY VENTURES COMPANY began as a small vision of founder Randall C. Holloway in late 1998. After trying to make a living as a cartoonist, Randall had all but given up when he was hired in 1998 to complete the graphic designs and logo for the Ralph J. Bunch Visitors Center on the campus of Howard University. Focusing on innovation and consumer need, his visually enhanced websites created a networking stir for the small circle of businesses and entrepreneurs that needed advertising. With one computer and very little funds, Randall combined animation and visual design to gain a solid reputation for giving upstart companies a web presence and creative uniqueness that was new and inventive. Thus began a journey of creativity that would take him to new heights in pursuit of a dream.

In January 2000, Randall partnered with James S. Terrell to begin production of music and art exhibitions throughout Washington, DC. The reputation grew as the two planned and produced several shows with creative flair by incorporating Holloway's web animation and vivid perspective to Terrell’s soulfully, spiritual color schemes.

2001, Randall began developing web animation and his first character Max Imagine. With Max's appeal to younger children progressing, Randall began educating children on visual art and focused his development on education in storytelling . As James ventured to New York City, Randall began development of characters and story while teaching art workshops in Washington, DC. By 2002, he had over 35 characters and 5 stories that focused on morality and adventure. In April 2003, the company officially began as Holloway Ventures with a focus on web design, visual art exhibition, character development and art education.

In 2005, Holloway Ventures presented its first major visual arts exhibition. True to the nature of the Holloway Ventures tradition, the show was creative and inspiring. After its success, Randall began to partner with other visual artists and businesses to produce art shows. That same year, the company’s first major setback occurred when Randall met with the former marketing director of Cartoon Network to pitch his Max Imagine story. Afraid that he would not be taken seriously by the big exec, Randall decided to pitch another story instead. The exec said they were not interested and that Randall needs more development skill. One year later, his newly pitched story made its premier on Cartoon Network and Randall was left out. Randall decided to go off on his own.
